12 Lead ECG Fundamentals By Bob Page, M.Ed, NRP, CCP, NCEE

Overall Objective: The goal of this course is to empower a health care provider with the skills necessary to properly acquire a 12/15 lead ECG and triage for evidence of STEMI (ST segment elevation myocardial infarction) and to improve outcomes by early recognition, activation, and intervention. If more providers are competent in these skills, we will eliminate barriers or extra layers that ultimately delay activation and intervention.

Synopsis: Join this special class of 12 Lead ECG for all levels including basic EMT's and first responders developed by VHAC (Virginia Heart Attack Coalition). The class is designed for all providers to demonstrate proper lead placement and 12 and 15 ECG lead acquisition. There is also basic STEMI recognition. This course is also for any BLS provider that works with or may expected to acquire a 12 Lead ECG’s.
