This initiative aims to:
Highlight real patient and system experiences
Encourage discussion and shared learning
Identify opportunities for statewide improvement
Strengthen EMS and hospital collaboration
Increase member engagement and participation
Kicking Off the Series
Thank you to Dr. John Patterson, LewisGale Physicians for not only recommending this concept but volunteering to lead our first presentation.
Join us Thursday, May 21, 2026, and be part of this new initiative as we launch a forum designed to promote shared learning, strengthen collaboration, and bring real-world cases to the forefront of statewide discussion.
The VHAC Collaborative Council serves as an open forum designed to bring together EMS professionals, cardiovascular leaders, physicians, nurses, administrators, quality leaders, and healthcare partners from across the Commonwealth to share ideas, discuss challenges, identify opportunities, and advance systems of care through collaboration and action.
The Council meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM ET via Teams and welcomes participation from members across all disciplines and regions.
