Fundamentals of 12-Lead ECG Virtual CE – Free Training Opportunity

EMS professionals, dispatch teams, and healthcare partners are invited to participate in an upcoming Virginia OEMS-approved virtual continuing education session focused on strengthening ECG interpretation and STEMI recognition.

Fundamentals of 12-Lead ECG will be presented by Bob Page, M.Ed, NRP, CCP, NCEE, CHSE, CHSOS, a nationally recognized EMS educator. This session is designed to enhance statewide ECG competency and support rapid, accurate STEMI identification across EMS and hospital teams.


The course will highlight how dispatch centers, ground EMS, and helicopter EMS can work together to ensure the right patients are transported directly to the cath lab as quickly as possible—ultimately improving outcomes for STEMI patients.


This educational event also helps kick off National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and EMS Week, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across the entire emergency response system.
